The year 1997 in Australia is etched in my mind, because 17 years ago, the then Minister of Health, Dr Michael Wooldridge, started a fraudulent media campaign stating that Australia's childhood vaccination rates were 53%. This figure was not only splattered over the Australian Media... it made it into the New Zealand Herald. It didn't matter to him, or the media, that the data he provided was a total lie. It never occurred to him that he'd even got any facts wrong, like men becoming sterile after MEASLES..... The medical profession knew his vaccination rate data was lies, and stayed silent, sitting back poker-faced with folded arms, quietly cheering him on in one of the most blatant, criminally erroneous publicity campaigns that had ever taken place. Until now.... Continue Reading

Ministry of Health seriously misled the Immunisation Select Committee
This is the first in a series of blogs on this topic. This one is a long blog but you need to read it very carefully. You need to understand exactly how the information provided by the MOH to Dr Hutchison is so misleading and the implications of that for the whole debate. Continue Reading
"Refusal" to vaccinate
While the medical profession has finally caught on, that the more "educated" a parent makes themselves on the issues around vaccination, the more likely they are to chose not to vaccinate, they are utterly offended that people can chose not to vaccinate. Furthermore, their take on the issue of "choice" is off the wall. Their solution to parents not making the 'right' choice, is to back parents into the wall and take pot shots at them with "Refusal to vaccinate" letters (see bottom), which read like legal documents, but are not. These "refusal to vaccinate" letters come out of such skewed thinking patterns as can be seen in this statement in May this year, from the biggest vaccine defender of them all, Dr Paul Offit: Continue Reading
Big Pharma systemic corruption
Systemic rot in Pfizer has got too deep for the authorities to turn a blind eye to any more. Pfizer has paid censured experts to educate doctors, has illegal ghost-writing practices; been warned about significant violations in paediatric trials of Geodon, was found guilty of pushing Neurontin for illegal purposes: tried to force NEMJ to hand over peer review comments... , their litany of dishonesty and corruption, just goes on, and on and on. To me the one incident that really says it all about the system is what the FDA organized when Pfizer was caught illegally marketting Bextra. Continue Reading
Ignrance is not bliss: serious Hepatitis B vaccine questions
Recently, I was contacted by a young woman about to complete her midwifery qualifications. She had delivered a baby whose young mother was a hepatitis B carrier. This young aspiring midwife had recently returned a negative blood test for Hepatitis B antibodies, Immediately, concerns had been raised that she may have been exposed to surface antigen from the baby's skin. I started asking questions, like, "Well, was this young mother vaccinated?" and... "Was she just surface antigen positive, or was she core antigen positive and therefore actively infectious?" then... "What information were you given to prove that hepatitis B surface antigen is littered all over this baby's skin?" and.. "Were you vaccinated with the Hepatitis B vaccine?" Continue Reading
Professor Peter Collignon disturbed at lack of influenza data
This morning, on Nine to Noon, Kathryn Ryan listened while Professor Peter Collignon carefully detailed his concerns about the lack of data on flu vaccine side effects; the short comings of the current reporting systems world wide; the inadequate reasoning behind the use of the H1N1 vaccine. Everything Professor Collignon stated this morning, underlines everything I said to the Health Select Committee on vaccination rates, on April 15th, 2010. So let's see how my suggestions to expand the use of the National Immunisation Register to include other health data might pan out in the current situation of serious Fluvax reactions in Australasian children. GSK smacks UK Health Secretary's hand.
Here's how the story goes. In 2005 Glaxo Smith Kline, amongst other vaccine firms, threatened the UK Government, saying - "You've got to increase the use of ordinary annual flu vaccine in UK, or if a pandemic comes, we won't supply pandemic vaccine! So there." Fast forward to 2010. The UK Government wanted to back out on the 2009 H1N1 vaccine contract, but GSK refused. And I bet they reminded them of that wee discussion in 2005. "Not gonna let you cancel", says GSK. "We'll downgrade your order of H1N1 vaccine from 130 million doses down to 34.8 million doses, but here's the deal:" Continue Reading
Stevie
Stevie had a history of being born premature, tonsils and appendix out; left alternating extropia, (which got worse after Gardasil); allergy to citrus, and like her brother, didn’t handle the babyhood vaccines easily. She spiked high temperatures and cried a lot. Stevie also has an anti-trypsin MZ type deficiency, which meant that she was often prescribed antibiotics early in infections or they would become very bad. Continue Reading
Part One When your child has a vaccine reaction
How would you feel if your healthy child died, or had a serious reaction to Gardasil? What would you expect to happen in terms of your concerns, and your “need-to-know”? How would you go about finding closure? What are the obstacles along this way? Continue Reading
Unskeptical skeptics
Over the last few years, there has been an unprecedented attack on anything loosely described as “alternative” medicine, by those who call themselves skeptics. Continue Reading
